Curriculum

We encourage a quiet, busy, workshop atmosphere within each class. The work is carefully planned to incorporate all aspects of the National Curriculum, National Literacy and Numeracy strategies as well as the non-curriculum work that we feel is important. Work is differentiated to meet all children’s needs and thorough planning ensures continuity and progression through the years. Children may work individually, as part of a group or with the whole class, dependent upon what is being taught. We feel it is very important to encourage children to be independent and self confident while being appreciative of the needs of other children around them, respecting the views and property of others.
